The Muninn Project and the WikiWar Project are pleased to announce the
immediate availability of the OpenHistoricalMap Tasking Manager:
http://tasks.openhistoricalmap.org
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the original Humanitarian
OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) Tasking Manager, it is a web application to break
down a large mapping project into small chunks so that many mappers can
work together to complete it.
Using it is simple, and we encourage you to login, pick an existing task,
and add some features to see how it works. Instructions and tutorial videos
are provided, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
If you would like to run your own Tasking Manager projects, just post here
the project you'd like to map and a link to the tiles you'll use for
tracing imagery. We'll contact you about getting started.
Enjoy!
